I produced a part of a live broadcast on DR (Danish Radio) about the Mars landing of the Perseverance Rover. My contribution was a story on two Danish students who had conducted an experiment with bacteria. They wanted to see if resilient bacteria from Earth could survive a simulation of different Mars like conditions. This kind of research can help us understand the conditions necessary for life and if life is possible outside Earth.
